The Duck-boat is a good idea, especially for anyone who doesn't know Liverpool like the back of their hand. Splash-down is always a thrill.

Unfortunately I can't make this despite it being in my back-garden cos I've been volunteered to help out at a family do

I'm sure you will all have a blast.

Looks like I don't have my Daughter New Years EVE/ Day so it makes sense to do something different.

If there's somewhere I can crash that would be nice (can brig Bivvy Bed & sleeping bag, also have a spare if anyone needs) as I am sure hotels will be fully booked or charging the earth.

Thought I was working but it doesn't look like I am now, so kinda thinkin about this one too...being such a shorty packed pubs are a bit intimidating on New Years eve. Also have a proven track record of falling over on nights out so would need a protective cordon to stop me be being suffocated and keep me upright...can I rely on you?
