Thanks R C. The rider was 34 year old Marc Ramsbotham from Norfolk, a newcomer to the event. Fingers crossed for Saun Harris, involved in a separate crash at the TT on the 5th, he's in a critical condition in ITU.

This is rather sad topic for me to be posting as it really and truly is a little closer to home for me than some of you may realize.

Mark, also known by his friends and fellow racers as "Rammy" is an ex-Bemsee (the motorcycle racing club I regularly up until, this year have marshaled with) racer whom I met a couple of times in the race paddock at a couple of Bemsee meetings.
RIP Rammy.

But the other sad part about this incident is that one of the two spectators that was killed was a guy from Kidderminster that I know. Kidderminster is barly 5 miles away from where I live so this makes the whole tragic accident a little too close to home.
RIP each and every one.
