A 'no motorways' ride up to Stafford and back,scencic routes where possible,200+ miles,Rudolph performed admirably..

Just a couple of hours riding through Suffolk and Essex, then standing around in the sunshine watching a friend who's just taken up vintage scrambling - and he's 78!

Finally "persuaded" a stuck brake pad pin to give up and let me change the VERY low pads on Rudolph's rear caliper...what a bugger of a job..:/

Doing an oil and filter change on Verity the CB500,and a thorough checkover prior to inheriting winter duties from Speed Triple,then got to strip Tiger900 carbs ready for ultrasonic bath...

After a late breakfast at the Ace Cafe with some other BM'ers, (late because we was waiting for Ivan to show up before ordering).
Then a ride into Oxfordshire to H Cafe for more cups of coffee, followed by a beautiful starburst when we started heading home in different directions.

Re-fitted the handguards to Verity the Honda,ready to keep icicles off me digits during the winter months,and treated her to a"Got Mule?" sticker on the tank,for sterling "winter donkey" work

Thrashed Verity over to The Lower Lode Inn at Forthampton,lunch,refuel for her too, then back to basecamp,fitted her old Givi screen back on,and tightened up the r/h mirror..forgotten how much fun this wee bike was to ride...:)

Fitted the new engine and ancillerys. Just gear box, clutch, swing arm, drive line, wiring loom subframe and body work to go 👍
