Wonderful day with the Berkshire TOMCC on a ride out through the Cotswold taking in most of the picturesque villages stopping off for lunch at a wonderful pub in Bibury. Haven't tasted trout that fresh in a long time.

Decided to grab the bull by the horn and really overcome my fear or anticipation of motorways. Rode down 180 miles to Basingstoke... 90% of the trip on motorways and dual carriage ways and looooved it. Another fear I have is wind... and it was rather gusty at times on way and that also wasn't a problem for me.... so roll on distance riding... this is the furthest I have ever been since I got here.... yay...

I have just done 340 miles from Southampton to South Shields and not even George Michael could wake my arse up!!! Bobbers look good but apes and a sprung solo seat don't make for a comfy long distance machine! The apes are coming off and a set from a sporty 48 are going on!
