Went the scenic country route to Whitby. From there down to Scarborough to see my mate. Then back home and after Helmsley the unmistakable night time smell of the North Yorkshire Moors at the end of a hot day. Those who have done it will know what I mean.
Took the chainguard off, ready to fit my new chain
It's "out for delivery" according to the tracking email
And it's only coming from the Goole depot
So fingers & everything else crossed
I "hope" to be at the Puddin Rally early afternoon
But if it takes all day to get here
I won't be there till early evening
Cheer up VM
You're not alone
I've done all on mine since 9am this morning
Still waiting for my chain to arrive
Apparently it could be here anytime "up to 9pm"
So much for an afternoon/eve at Puddin
been taking bits off sr250 project bike(feylin's) outside in the sunshine, after sawing tree branchs this morning, most bits sound but 'used ' condition..going to be a 'winter fettle' project...
As I couldn't go to the Yorki pud rally, I went on the bike to Medway to visit my daughter in the hospital. Needed the ride very much. It was sunny all the way there and back, but very very windy especially over the Medway bridge.
Gorgeous ride through the Oxon, Berkshire and Bucks countryside over to Beaconsfied for the West London Harley Riders 30th Birthday Bash, thankfully there was another Triumph there LOL. Will post a few pics on the events page later
Took my cbr to the coast today - Hunstanton is a 100 mile round trip from Peterborough, and is a trip I've done on every bike I've ever owned, going back to the eighties.... Blimey, must be getting old!
