Aww thanks V
ROFL @ 'miserable git' no BC I'm a miserable git by nature, just MORE miserable when I'm woken up.
I didn't get withdrawal symptoms as such when I gave up smoking, not this time, and I never crave a cig really, it was my time for giving up, I was ready. I reckon all these ailments I'm getting now are in place of withdrawal symptoms, just a shame I couldn't choose which to have.. ailments or withdrawals
Thanks B C I won't be going back to smoking I prefer my life without them in it, in fact I can't stand the smell now, when someone has just had a fag. Barf!
Hi Kwak,do you like Indian food-I find its a real boost to the system. All that garlic/ginger and spices wizzing round your blood stream might help.Everyone I know gets the flue and colds except me, and theres more vitamins in chillies than any other veg.Anyway hope you feel better soon.
Iggypup...me loves spicy food, but you know a bit too much of it keeps people standing a distance a way from you! especially garlic! That's the secret of not catching germs - not getting too close!
Do you know Kwak, thats how all reformed smokers feel...we are then the biggest hipocrites...I hate the smell too! I even get annoyed if anyone smokes in my house or car! I cringe at the thought that I must have smelt like that too!
Hi BC1966 "he might be kidding...lets hope he is! "
This guy doesn't kid - his biggest boast is that he has never travelled faster than 70mph!!!!
Methinks I'm done lol!
Iggy, thanks for the advice but unfortunately I'm allergic to some things, coconut is one of 'em, and don't like a lot of spicy stuff or ginger (I'm a fussy bugger)
I take garlic in capsule form cos it's odourless. I had a viral infection a short while ago it could be that that has flared up again and causing me all the problems, I don't know and that's half the problem, not knowing.
Lol B C aint that the truth, former smokers being hypocritical.
I don't mind the smoke when I'm at my mum's but I detest reeking of stale smoke when I leave.
Some things still reek of smoke after all this time with no smoking in my house, it's clung to books and other stuff. I'm going to have to chuck them out and gradually replace things.
Thats really sad Daytona-man! Its very hard to say goodbye to a special friend x I had to do it 3 years ago but the holidays are great!!
Its my birthday and yet again I spend it single!!
Quote Lula....realising that this year is going to be exactly the same as the last 3 for me by the look of things.
What you on about Lula like the others have said you have your bike, you have a life back, pick yourself up gal or I will be round to kick your backside for you.
Come on look what you achieved yesterday, LEADER OF THE PACK.
Stop looking back at the past and enjoy the mystery of the future.
