I have a wicked sense of humour. . .

I might appear independent and confident. . but underneath. . . I am sensitive and after much heartbreak, I am now sharing my life with someone special again. . doing all the little things together that are so important. . . .

I have liked bikes since I can ever remember. . after many years being a pillion I had to retake the new test (after DVLA lost my original test records) and passed. . In between the Modules and DAS work I rode a Honda Varadero (over 4k) to give me invaluable experience. . . I did my test on the 600CBF and then had the privilege of riding Ruby. . . pictures are on my profile. . . I love being pillion too. . there is nothing more special than snuggling up to your fella on a bike!

I went on from Ruby to my first FJR “Freya” and then onto my “Big Bad Beastie Boy” my amazing Honda Super Blackbird - which I had to sell when my daughter took gravely ill back in 2013 (the time I suddenly disappeared from BikerMatch etc).

I met my husband Rob in 2015 after I had had treatment for PTSD - we eventually bought two brand new Yamaha FJR’s - got married and rode to Europe for our honeymoon! On the way back we went to the British GP and I lead the Worlds Largest All Female Parade on a GP track!

Rob and I went everywhere together on our bikes until I had a nasty fall and took ill in 2019. Two years ago the DVLA were instructed by my neurologist to withdraw my license for both a car and motor bike - coping being disabled is one thing - losing your bike was a completely horrendous experience so now at nearly 60yrs old - I can no longer ride a bike!

After attending BM’s 20th birthday party celebrations, I have returned to BikerMatch to see old friends and to make new ones!! It was a great weekend and it was fantastic seeing Matt, BJ, Sumo, BikerBill, LittleLady, Gordy, Wills, Stella, Sweep, JP, and so many more - special thank you to Slasher who encouraged me to go
