I did just over 150mph average speed over the 1/4 mile at a sprint at Elvington in about 1978. I have allso had my Fireblade flat out at over 170mph, the last time being in Germany last year going to the German GP

reached 140 mph years ago on A1, no other vehicles on road, and bottle went.......happy now cruising at 95 on motorways with the odd blast for overtaking..... could be wrong but was told years ago that just over 97 mph means a court appearance if caught, hence the 95 limit for me.. but of course I always ride to speed limits

A clock indicated 183, maybe 175.

Rock solid and felt a bit slow really.

Not sure what speeds I've done (as a pillion) but well over the ton. I think one rider said we'd done 180 but I have no idea as I can never see the clock. As a rider my top speed wasn't even half of 150mph lol, I got up to 60 on my 125, going down hill and with a wind behind me, it was like being on the other end of a pneumatic drill

The bike I have now is supposed to have a top speed of 150. I'm going to have to find out if it will. Only had 135 so far, but it had plenty left.

I never break speed limits.. But I have had 150 out of three bikes. A GPZ900R, a GPX750R and a ZX636. All done in either the Isle of Man or Germany.

I have done 120 on my Pan then slowed it down because I was dangerously close to contracting pan wobble. I did a high speed run from Chester to Kendal in the ambulance one . The slowest I cruised at was 60 through built up areas but on the motorways it was a steady 120. We did have a police escort and the patient need to be in Kendal for a transplant.

Thought for a moment you had the patient on the pillion!

Memo to me: must read posts properly.

Only ever managed 126 at on a private road "but was testing my trailer at the time lol" could not make the thing snake or weave what ever I did with it lol, however I could not have sustained that sort of speed as the tyres were only rated to 80mph Only ever owned bikes that were capable of approx 125mph nothing above that. Although i've ridden faster bikes never took em to their terminal speed in case it was "terminal" when the owners found out or got a speeding ticket they were not actualy guilty of lol.
