just had a look and the tickets for the nec are £15 each and £7 parkin if you pre book or £8 on the day, bikes park free. Just log onto the nec and follow the links
Yep, I'll be there as normal.
In my opinion definitely NOT a waste of time (I even fly down from the Highlands especially) and I always come away inspired.
Usually manage to blag some free tickets but if not I happily pay the entrance fee. Normally try to get to the Preview Day (which is £28) as it is that much quieter.
Apparently Honda aren't going to be there this year, so no I wont be going. Plus the bargains arent there any more. A friend went to get a specific helmet last year as he thought it would be cheaper but he found it for £80 less on the net! Needless to say, he's not going either
NEC is the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
If you Google NEC Bike Show you should see a link for it.
It is really good for travelling to as it is joined to Birmingham airport and rail station.
It can be! I tend to go on the Preview Day or during the week when it will be quieter - never been on a weekend but imagine it could be Hell!
You just have to ignore the giggling idiots dribbling over the female scantily clad models and be aware that you have paid just as much to look at the bikes as the people with cameras and you will be fine...
The preview day is more expensive but once in then all of the stuff you would normally pay extra for is free e.g. Wall of Death, karting, mini motos, biking schools, Supercross etc.
Last yr was the 1st time I had ever been to the bike show, I had a fab day out and cant wait to go this year......its another chance for me to sit on all the harleys that I cant afford
Hate to say Drobess but dont think Harley D are there either this yr nor Aprilia / Buell/moto guzzi / or honda gonna be bear or squeezed into small rooms ?
