I must recommend The Dog and Partridge on the A52 at Swinscoe, just outside Ashbourne.
I stopped there today to meet " a young friend of mine " and she suggested we had something to eat. The place does not look biker friendly from the outside and I wasn't in my best gear but my word what a nice welcome.
There were a few , what I'd call "Pseudo Snobs" in there all dressed like your gran does for church but the staff looked after us very well and to be honest I felt very welcome. Food was good too. I noticed they had a few chalets at the back for rent (read Jimmy's dirty weekend) but I forgot to ask if he had space for camping etc.
I was so happy with the level of welcome I recieved I have emailed them to say thank you.
