Just a quick update for anyone who is interested.
A bunch of us are off to Portpatrick, arriving Easter Friday and heading home on Monday. Some BM attendees and some other walks of life. About 15 interested so far but some will no doubt drop out and others join in.
Most of us are staying in hotels (the Fernhill seems popular) or B&B's but at least one brave soul is camping. The campsite is about a mile outside the village. Portpatrick is small enough for us all to meet up without any difficulty.
The evenings will no doubt involve food, beer and talking gibberish, the days riding around that part of Scotland.
If your interested sign up and book your own accommodation.

Dizzy you are the only person I know tshirt who is daft enough to advertise on an open forum to share your bedroom with a stranger.
You need to include a warning about your snoring and flatulace issues

10 of us here so far.
And, despite a slight hangover, everything is looking beautiful outside.

Great weekend.
Thanks, Dot, for letting me have a bed on Saturday. It wouldn't have been the same coming down just for Sunday/Monday.
Lovely to see old friends again and to make new ones .
Hope it's not too long before we do it all again!

Every afternoon on return from the rideout (or evening after the pub meet), I have been thoroughly surprised that my tent was still where i left it.
I didn't know that "sea view", meant prevailing winds of 30 knots most nights, but this is good news for my other pursuits!
