Dropped the Blackline on Saturday.... 😢 Managed to pick it up again... So far number plate crushed, number plate lighting f....d and seat lose... I think I picked it up at the seat...
Usual Tetbury commute, but dry today...gave a tractor driver two fingers for all the huge chunks of mud dumped in my path as i passed him, hope there's a "Mud On Road" sign there tomorrow...:/
Was planning on fitting Marilyn's new rear shock, but i think a rudder and masts might be more worthwhile today..her old cover has shredded too, glad i bought a backup last month...:/
Saturday, and i tore apart Marilyn to start changing her rear shock, slow progress, but getting there, lol. Sunday should see new one installed and road tested..:) ""OO""
Marilyn now back to full health, plush new rear shock installed and tested🏍,plus the seat height is now an inch lower,so easier to manhandle her about...she's a big lass,lol..😆👍👍
Spent a couple of hours on the custom, seat problem nearly sorted and primary has oil for the first time in 5 years.... One step forward, 2 back though all the time... Blackline soldering hasn't worked so have to do it again....
Saturday i shifted Rudolph into his 'winter quarters',freeing up room for more modifications to the rest of the bikes during the grottiest months....new stainless steel engine casing screws arrived for Marilyn,a little bling, lol
