This morning...wriggled around the garage floor, under my Speed Triple, and performed some unlikely yoga-esque poses....but now Rudolph has a centre stand...an Ebay bargain buy...£45!!!,they're £170 new...now i can do chain adjustment without a bloody paddock stand..woopwoop :)> In hindsight, wish i'd gone out and bought some workshop disposable gloves too...'tis oily by the chain, duh!
Clearest, fastest run ever through Snake Pass. Just 5 cars in the way and caught them together on a straight. Brilliant. Just finished a cuppa in Glossop and now ready for the return leg.
Usual commute on Verity, lovely morning and evening ride...got home, lubed and adjusted chain,(about time too, lazy sod)..faffed around with front brake light switch till i broke it,ordered a replacement on Ebay for a heady £2.60!! Might give the poor old beast a wash...eventually..lol
Plan for the A.M....clean, polish and check over Speed Triple before trip to Dent next weekend, then off to the Lower Lode Inn,for a sit by the river and lunch...:)> ""OO""
Got home and the new front brake light switch for Verity (broke the old one) had arrived..10 mins and sorted :)> Ebay strikes again...£2.30 for pattern switch including postage..genuine item from Honda £24.83p.....!!
Friday, off up to Dent via A and B roads only, via Newark for lunch with a special lady, last 9 miles was hilarious,a single track 4-gated "road" that cuts up through Low Gill valley and follows the contours of every sheep turd and glacier, leaping on and off a fully loaded Speed Triple as every gate was properly shut kept me nice and warm,lol.....a different route on the return leg,but still A n' B roads only.....609 miles all in,as was i when i got to my gate...excellent company too, even if XKLYBR's bike wanted to go to sleep on it's side, lol
