Nothing yet, but while sorting out my old race stuff I found a pair of unused "Silencers". P&D Custom Bikes are fabricating some connector pipes/brackets to fit them to my Thruxton, so I'll pop down and see if they're done later I think!
I went up the A40 and back down the 4069 to check that we were charging properly, blew some cobwebs away and blew some air into the tyres then put Ermintrude back into her shed until I take her to work next week
Saturday ..jobs on Verity, tyre pressutes, lubed chain, checked oil and coolant levels..cable oiler on clutch, choke and throttle cables, dab of black paint on exhaust pipes..coated shiny bits with WD40...plenty of stuff still to do on others..
Completed my 600 mile 3 day jaunt through northern England and a small bit of the Scottish borders. Wonderful roads, breathtakingly beautiful scenery and fantastic weather. It doesn’t get better.
A nice ride with some mates to Ellesmere then up to the Ponderosa for a sausage bap, down to lake Bala for an ice cream in the sunshine, back over the mountain to Montford Bridge then back home, bit chilly but was a good day out.
Started Verity to make sure she's ready for next week, after being subject to an evil blowjob, then up the garage to check on batteries trickling on other bikes, all well up to 13.5 - 14+ volts...happy daze..:)>
Took the blade out for a quick blast this afternoon, noticed a few strange things going on, flashing instrument panels and fluctuating revs at junctions so headed back and just made it back onto the drive when battery failed completely.
Got carbs ready to come off Tiger900,ready for a trip to an ultrasonic tank for a long soak...:) Fired up Rudolph the Speed Triple and had a quick scoot around the neighbourhood to cure cabin fever, then moved Verity the winter mule back into her usual start position as it's forecast dry until Thursday...checked oil and tyre pressures too...busy busy..:)>
Snap!!! Lol..just my usual jaunt up to Tetbury along the lanes,11 miles to here..suspect it will be same distance home..haha Bit nippy, but nobody has posted me any wooly kneewarmers..:/>
Took the Speed Triple out to the Lower Lode Inn,Forthampton, for chips and a pint of Stowford Press..nice 50 mile round trip...put new batteries in the handlebar clocks on Verity and Rudolph..
