Yesterday - Scenic run. Coffee/cake at Ashbourne, then down to Carsington Water for a photostop. Then on out to Wirksworth which is a nice little town. Then reverse route home. Isn't retirement a wonderful thing ?

Ride out from Bassetts pole down A5 to Towcester, Jacks Hill café then over to Banbury and up through Cotswolds to Stratford, Wellsbourne airfield for cuppa and slice of carrot cake then up to Alcester, Studley and home. Lovely day out riding with a mate off here.

Fitted a decent powder coated steel rack from http://www.mmotoracks.com/
They're based in the Ukraine and seem to know how to make proper racks that you could strap a cow to.
Very impressed at how much gear I can carry even with a pilly on board!
Also got to the route of Graces intermittent electrics screwing up the lights… new start/kill switch solved the problem. Getting quite adept at taking off all the panels now…

Hmm… still have the clutch rotor arm to do…
Started on the camping trailer though…

Replaced O rings on oil cooler feed lines on the tiger cos of a slight weep.

Popped up to the NMA...rammed, lots of prep going on for the weekend also. Still room for a little one with a cuppa/cake though.

Attached trickle charger to Speedfour 600's battery,bit low....:(
Pootled down to Lower Lode Inn for a stray pint on Rudolph the Speed Triple..:)>

Longer trip to work today,still only 26 miles each way,but extra fun dodging heavy showers all the way back...damp toecaps was all,(note to self:- start carrying waterproof leggings on the bike,eejit)
