I'm so low Lisa....this is such a bummer isn't it. I would thoroughly recommend finding an instructor who can book you into a practice session on the test site on a sunday. A friend's instructor did this as a one off favour for me last sunday. It really really helped to practice in situ..... I KNOW I CAN DO IT!!! grrrrrrrr lol By the way you did really well lassie to do all the manoevres & get your speeds on the bend as well if you've never been on the site before

hi lisa , its too late in year now to do that full on weekend , but from what u r saying , you allready there , dont forget the dsa have special extra grippy surface on all mod 1 sites ,, so the tyres wont let go while turning .

minnie we dont pre book tests for our students either , i advise them to keep checking the dsa website , cuz if the schools that do block book them cant sell them they get thrown back into the system . so keep checking

Cheers buzz. Yup, going to do that. I have another mate who failed mod 2 last week in another area & last night there were no slots for weeks & weeks. Then this morning 2 slots appeared next monday & tuesday, so it's sorted for next week....definitely worth checking regularly
I haven't taken the january slot in kendal. Booked a mod 2 date first week in december in another (small) town....know have to hope the weather behaves itself & lets me do a few rekkies before hand

I've not got many days off but I'll check to see if there's anything in the next couple of weeks, if not then I'll be keeping my bike in the garage till spring!

Minnie,, Lisa,, sorry to hear the bad news, Minnie I have seen you ride and you are a good rider so you are right, you can do this. We have been block booking tests as have loads of trainees wanting to beat the new laws, and tests are hard to get here as we have one of main test centres for the area. Please just keep at it and you will both pass,
