Arriving safely at my mates place in Devon - in spite of thick fog ALL the way down the M5 and A30! Was worth the trip just to see my pal for the first time in six months :)

Two things have made me smile today;-

1) My neighbour from heaven...
Came home to find some fresh warm sausage casserole waiting on the doorstep for me
Bless her forever. I don't know what I've done to deserve it, but I'm truly appreciative

2) If you were at all worried about the Mayan apocalypse (Dec 21, 2012) fear no more, just move to France....

Back properly..

Have been really struggling to juggle work.. be a mamma.. go to class.. study.. practice the study and do the homework assignments.. be a tour guide on the weekend and go to Church twice a week and because I'm soft.. bake muffins and christmas cakes for Church and folk!

Third week in and I think I got it licked.. and not before time.. think my membership runs out in a day or two!!

Sighs.. I do like it here and I do miss being able to let off steam or just laugh outrageously!!

Cannot wait for Squires Christmas Lunch!!!!!!

Seeing the flood water subside in my garden and the lane, thankfully didnt get into house this time. The builders have just about finished from the last flood back in July. Having new carpets and furniture next week so last thing needed was a repeat performance of flood water throughout the house.
