I got told about a job before it even went to advert as it was almost the same job as I was second choice for recently, applied for the job, didn't even get shortlisted so asked why, well the reason made me nearly fall of my chair laughing, I didn't meet the essential standard required of having G.C.S.E Maths and English, they were C.S.E's in my day, lol I have been an Accounts Manager and also a Secretary during my working life and now work in Administration yet thats the feeble excuse they came up with.
Oh well their loss.
Im so excited. My dad just rang to say he has taken delivery of the whole pram set he has bought me for baby. Its the whole works, frame, pushchair, car seat, changing bag, umbrella, rain cover etc etc. He is good to me bless him. Where would I be without my Mike, dad, stepmum and close friends that have been so helpful with this baby. They are good to me and that makes me smile! Now all I need is dad to babysit (which he has already offered to do) and then I can go out on my bike as there is no way Im selling it!!!!! lol
Having a lovely girly day just with my daughter Sophie in the town, been a long time coming - we both returned, damp from the snow showers, but happy and contented :-)
Already thought of that TM, Im gonna put a topbox on and cut a hole in the top. Baby will be fine if I wrap her in some kevlar sheeting lol Either that or a tank bag for her to sit in with a tube attached so she can still feed on long journies! PMSL
