You're not wrong there Kaz...
Another of my friends has 3 generations in her family affected at the moment FFS...
Nasty indiscriminate evil disease.
Took my brother at 6 years of age... & countless people I've known &/or loved since... & each death brings back every other :o(
I am awaiting the dreaded call that my cousin has passed away , he was diagnosed with a brain tuma 5 months ago after falling down the stairs , it was suspected he had had a stroke but the ct scan revealed a massive in-operable brain tuma . It will be 3weeks on thursday since the doctors gave him 2 days to live , the family has been called upon 3 times since then suspecting his time had come .
I dread to think what they are going through as his sister was taken from us 8 years ago by cancer of the lymph glands .
My father was one of the lucky ones , he had a tuma removed from his gullet 10 years ago , along with most of his gullet so now his stomach resides behind his lungs , he becomes breathless quite easily but atleast he is still with us , it was only 2 years ago that he as given the all clear after regular 6 monthly check-ups .
Dammit fastjock... not a good time for anybody involved!
My thoughts are with you all....
WB, Karey.... you are right.. I don't know of anybody that hasn't been affected by the consequences of cancer in one way or another, myself included. All we can do is be strong for them.
Jeeeeeeez fastjock...can't imagine what yr family's going thro. My mum had a near miss one nite..me and my brothers were called for ..me from up here to near Watford and one of my brothers came over from France..
My mum has leukaemia and had a bad seizure one nite while in hosp.... luckily she came thro it .. shes lost a few marbles but shes still here :o) That was the worst night of my life.. so Fek knows how your family's been thro it 3 times! I jus hope yr cousin aint suffering and that he has a peaceful end to such an awful condition.
Ive lost count of the number of ppl i have known or known of who have succumbed to cancer.. its an evil unforgiving disease, but sadly so so common.
On a slightly more positive note..they are making breakthroughs in treatment and ppl can get over some types...lets just keep hoping they can block it completely one day.
Compared to other posts this is rather trivial but it did dampen my day.
I span my car and ended up arse about face ........luckily the only damage is a scuffed wheel. Someone up on high had thoughtfully made sure there was no oncoming traffic.
(I'm now preparing for a piss take onslaught considering I'm a test driver!pmsl)
aww ghosty what r u like!!! i am feelin sad cus my eldest sons bicycle which he has built up himself has been stolen from the back garden, the little shite that did it would have needed to climb a 6 foot fence to get in and out of the garden too!!
