Getting out on my bike and having a really relaxed ride. Only went out for an hour, but what an hour! Lots of woohoo-ing and yeehaa-ing and the odd oh sh*te lol. I actually felt confident today, so i'm smiling lots now. Proper enjoyed myself

Driving down the M1 this morning - traffic slows to a stop at Junction 28 because of fog. A numpty comes down the hard shoulder hazards flashing hoping to pull back in only to be stuck behind a broken down wagon already on the hard shoulder PMSL. As I went passed he was reversing back along the hard shoulder looking for a gap. T--T
Telephone call of an hour and a half to Flame, who never fails to make me smile or laugh..we always find some humour in the most drastic scenarios!
Lol at Kwak...my normally very snobby Mum is absolutely helpless over anything to due with flatulence!

Rebuilt the forks and fitted new sticky Rennsports to my CBR600 trackbike today. I'm almost tempted to get a daytime MOT on it and start using it until the SV is rebuilt.
DAYTIME MoT? What's one of them?
Otherwise I took the BMW out for a gallop and it was one of those days when myself, the bike and road all seemed in harmony with each other. Sometime the BM can seem heavy and Germanic, but when I talk to it and tell it that one day it might just be traded in for summat lighter like an SV650, new-generation Bonnie or even an Enfield if the price is right, it starts behaving itself.
Waking up knowing that I've not got to go to work on this glorious morning. Feeling lots better everyday and also getting Lilly to splutter back into life yesterday after the battery being dead over Xmas. Can't ride yet but where I live I could hear all the bikes going out early on sat and sun cause it was dry. Music to my ears...

My Aunt always has a story for me...and the one she told me this am was a cracker...she has kindly offered to drive the long way over and pick girls up for me whilst I am in hospital again this pm..so I have been busy making a huge shepherd's pie...etc etc for when they get back home.
