Defrosted my fridge/ freezer about 9pm (the previous f/f never needed it doing) I put the food in a bucket and a bowl with newspaper and ice blocks, came down about 6am this morning and all the food had defrosted completely! I always thought it took about 12 hours to defrost WRONG! All that food wasted and no money to replace it , I don't get paid til next Monday Oh well, lesson learned, next time I'll leave food in the freezer with ice blocks and check it sooner. Just going to kick meself >>>>

I know it's easy to say and much harder to do XK

But try not to get too worried

Communications can be very sporadic in that part of the world

I hope you have some contact soon

I understand your anxiety xk. The summer before last my youngest daughter went to a very remote Island off Fiji & I didn't hear from her for 3 weeks. I was beside myself.......needless to say the photos she brought back with her confirm she wasn't experiencing the same worries.

But as Emzed says there are still great patches of the world with no phone signal or internet access, and sometimes even the means to charge up a phone

I hope you hear soon too
