...by law internal posts HAVE to be advertised, even if they already have someone earmarked for it!
That is correct PB, which means it's about time that particular law was changed, in MHO
That's a good idea, about asking, prior to applying, if it's being advertised internally.
Just got my copy of the MAG magazine 'The Road', and sad to read that Fergus O'Connell has died.
He used to be a columnist in the mag, and a real nutter
I met him at last year's Yorky Pud rally - he asked me if I liked his column - I said it was total pants, and couldn't he get a proper job...just as well he laughed 'cos he wos a big bloke.
RIP Ferg
Getting the dreaded phone call from school with more bad news, like I haven't got enough on my plate!
Hey ho, better off than some is all you can think I guess
Being purposly ignored by someone you couldn't have done more for when they had their bike accident. Just a simple reason would be nice.
Some people have such small memories at times.
They've been telling the landlord for ages that they've got a rodent problem in their student house. All the landlord has done is put some bait down. The tracks they've seen are huge.
Tonight my daughter has rung beside herself cos she's seen a stonking great rat running up the stairs, and she's in the house alone.
Now my daughter is trudging across Hyde Park in Leeds at this time of night to stay in her friend's house. They get charged a fortune for unfit housing, then they can't bear to live in it. Makes my blood boil
Report him to the council Min, he has to ensure his properties are in a condition for habitation, infestation by rodents is not sanitary. I am sure he must seek professional exterminators to do the job, I'm not a lawyer but a quick phone call to the council will give you all the information you will need to put your mind, and your daughters, at rest.
