Aww Jen I didn't know you had a tummy bug, hope you are feeling better today X Big hug for you too JP, hope your shoulder is better soon. I may be wrong, I usually am, but I think spitting in public IS an offence, something to do with diseases being passed on. Totally disgusting habit when done just for the sake of it, when done out of necessity then it should be in a tissue and disposed of in a bin.

on previous subject spitting....sorry folks ,but i have condition since stroke that means i continuosly spit all day long,discreetly as possible ,or into tissue i may add...would choke up completely otherwise....not a defence,just a reason ....x

Kwakgirl, the only gearbox I've stripped and rebuilt was on old AMC/Norton box many years ago. It all went OK, but the feeling of walking on thin ice was never too far away.
