Going for my final assessment with the consultant regards my bike accident claim, finding out my solicitor should have made sure I had an up to date xray before I went, finding out I have gained more upward arm movement but finding out I haven't gained any more strength or other functions, slightly down on some of them, discovering I know have carpel tunnel, not sure if its from accident or not got to go and see my gp. Bet your wondering why all that has made me smile, well it makes me smile because nothing in my life goes straight forward so didn't really expect much else. But I am not letting it get me down at least I still have my arm and it works good enough to get by and more importantly of all I can still ride my bike, this would be in the what made you sad if I couldn't do that.

To right Wills like I said I am still smiling, got so many nice things and people in my life that keep me smiling also only a couple of weeks till I become Cruiser Gran how exciting is that really don't know where the years have gone, I don't feel old enough to even be my daughters mom let alone a nanny to her child. Although the recent change in my dress sense may state otherwise.

I'm gonna try and round up as many as possible for the Wirral Egg Run. It's the daddy of all egg runs (yes I know you know that, but this is for the others to read) and we should be able to get a dozen of the Mersey locals, surely. I've met the Leeds crew a couple of times and spent some enjoyable hours in their company at National Rally checkpoints. They seem a decent bunch, but I don't think I'll be able to make the rally. My uncle used to play for Leeds United and this always goes down well with 'em.

Popping into the local Oxfam shop and spotting a Wolf leather bike jacket for a fiver. My size, too. Fairly well run-in, but what the hell...

Having a phone call of my eldest today who is doing her CBT today(second time around her first has run out)she was sitting on a wall at an industrial estate from 7.30am this morning in the rain and the wind was blowing her brolly inside out yet her day don't start until 8.30 but she had lift there. She said if they try to cancel it because of the weather she is going to try and insist she still does it as her 125 scooter is her only means of transport she has to ride it regardless of the weather so why shouldn't she be taught regardless of the weather conditions. When she did her last one the weather was awful and they tried to cancel it she said she had booked a day of work and wanted to still go ahead, so her first ever ride out on the road on two wheels was in the rain and dark.

The look on the staff's faces when they realised that they had not switched on my music when I had my MRI Scan done today! They had been singing along to it whilst all I got was a load of banging and whirring!

Seeing the look on a work colleagues face when she realised that I'd arranged a surprise leaving do for her in the local pub with some of the other carers we both work with! She was so touched that we'd all made the effort to send her off in style!! Ahhh x
