My car dying in and going out in a huge mushroom cloud of smoke, on a main rd next to a bloody roundabout!!!!
AAAAAAAaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Yesterday being told by the council area manager that the developers will soon start demolishing the empty properties next to my house. I have the noise of the traffic at the front as it is, it's going to be hell when the building machinery starts too. Oh well it was nice while it lasted, not having any neighbours and no noise from them.
I received a a letter from the council this morning, an offer of a house (13th one so far) and said I had to contact them by 12 noon today or lose the offer!! The letter was postmarked 2 days ago and arrived at 11.30, half an hours notice, so I phoned them and was told 'the key isn't back yet, there's work being finished on it, should have key by 22nd'!!!! So what was the bleedin rush for me to contact them!?
aaawwww sorry to hear of your heartache Rose, we always feel our childrens pain too dont we? Been there, done that when mine did the same to us too - pity he left such a legacy for us all and as much as I could try and understand his reasons, still felt he threw an awful lot away!!! All I can say is, stay close, be there for each other to talk about it good and bad and keep positive and move foward with hope not regret. One day, without you realising it, the bad memories will fade and you will only remember the good ones. My youngsters appear to be doing well now, have happy positive lives of their own and remember their dad with love and fond memories. A shame he's missing being part of their adult lives now but that was his choice and we must all respect that too! Live does go on and can be good again, just takes time, love and being there for each other always.
Much love and empathy
Take good care of yourselves

You can't choose your family Jen, but you can choose your friends, and I'm here for life XXXX Love and light to you and your lovely children
Can't hug you today like yesterday but this virtual is just as loving and meant today as it was given to you yesterday XXX
Yes, I echo all of that Jen - never mind, cant change it gotta accept it and not worth stressing over. Keep those close friends nearby, get on with your own life and loves and they'll come round one day - if not you're better off without em. You learn that too as you get older believe me - life's just too short!!!
