Cassie and blues thats fab to read.
Just reflecting on how much my life has changed over the past 11 months has made me smile, funny really when you think there will never be a light at the end of your tunnel and then one day you wake up and your whole life has begun again.
Last New Years eve I didn't want my life to carry on, I was in hiding and only my girls (and my aunt I was staying with) knew where I was, this year I plan to celebrate it with my family at my brothers house and tomorrow day will be really nice to as all my girls will be at home and I haven't seen my eldest for months due to her work commitments.
The nine replies to a New Year text message to a BM friend waiting for me when I switched my mobile on this morning! The excuse being that the network was busy and the sender didn't even think it had gone at all.
Lula, sounds like you've had your adrenaline rush for 2008!
nooo wills, did my first ride out on my own bike today, although very badly organised still gave me a great feeling, and a great way to start off the new year on me bike of many colours, lol
Seeing so many bikers at the Vic, Coalville for the Brass Monkey Run....and being really chuffed that Lula rode all the way round and even led the pack! Well done Lula!
Waking up this morning after a good night out, and not having a hangover. Then seeing the sorry state of my housemates as I banged through the house slamming doors and thumping up the stairs. Made me laugh.
Seeing Lula buzzing last night from her ride out. Also the smiles around the table as the mint sauce was passed around to have with the Lamb roast dinner Lula had done for us, umm now was it the mint sauce that made the mouth tingle or the lamb.
Hearing Dangerous Lynne at work saying how she was at her friends house over christmas tucking in to the nibbles put out on the table and after finishing the bowl her mate saying to her, blimey have you fed the cat all his treats, the daft bat had sat and ate a whole bowl of cat treats, she said she thought they tasted different but did said afterwards she had a PURR fect evening.
Seeing Bluesbikers face on Saturday night when I put a dress on to go out to a party, bless him, I had bought a really old fashioned crimperlene(spl) dress in pink with embossed green patterns on it, I put it on with black diamond patterned thick tights and knee high boots and asked him if he thought it looked nice, he just went umm! totally lost for words lol he then asked if it was what I was wearing to go out, so I told him yes, then the conversation went on for a few minutes to the tune of me saying in a moody tone "oh so now you don't like what I am wearing, whats the problem with it" etc... then I just couldn't keep a straight face anymore so had to say I was winding him up.
The thing was I also went downstairs to show my daughters and their mates what I had on and they thought I was wearing it to go out to, its amazing to see peoples faces when they really hate what your wearing but try to be polite in saying it looks nice.
I know I am rambling on a bit but hey ho, thats what happens when you have to get up early waiting for the plumber.
I then decided to wear the dress after all to go to my brothers house for his new years party but put on an old fashioned pearl necklace with matching earrings, an old baggy acrylic ribbed cardi black leggings with socks and a pair of flowery fabric sandals ( can't tell you how much of this came out my own wardrobe) a curly messy blonde wig, enormous glasses and a small handbag with some knitting in and an old pattern book with a shilling on the cover. Seeing my brothers and other family members faces when I walked in was a picture, especial my middle daughter who was already at the party with her partner.
The picture will be on my profile later this week. lol
relizeing thta old years night was a good one for me as igot to chat to some good mates on line and drag raceing my bike through an industrial estate and had fireworks and bbq and lots of caffine drinks . at a last min idea betwen a few biker mates .
Just heard my boss's brand new chrysler 300c has gone up in flames on the A5............That will keep my smiling for weeks
The coppers turned up and asked him what the problem was!
