''Show tunes'' on radio 2. I must be ,,,,,,,
Either very tired.
Or very old.
Or very gay.

I hope it's either the first or the third ,
coz I don't wanna get old .
Dusty x

ooh Helen Reddy's on now.
That settles it ,
it must be the third.
xx

After today's 50's event been tucking into some Billy Fury and the like. My brother who is 10 years older than me used to play him constantly on a Sunday morning on a Danasette record player.

BBC 2 again Jamie Cullum presents one of the stand out concerts at this years Cheltenham Jazz Festival as Madeleine Peyroux and her band take to the stage at The Big Top. She has music from her new album The Blue Room and classics from earlier releases as she breathes new life into some of the great music of Leonard Cohen, Buddy Holly, W.C.Handy and Ray Charles in a classic set that fuses jazz, folk and blues. 2 blissful hours

Listening to Hastings Rock radio station on 87.7 FM. Also on the net at www.hastingsrock.co.uk for those of you out of range on the steam radio system. They can only get a 28 day license to broadcast each year, started on the 4th May, on the air 24 hours a day for that period. Well worth a listen.
