At the moment I'm having problems with rats they are feasting on the contents of the bird feeders my neighbour has hanging in her garden.
I reported the rats to pest control and a guy came today to ask me how many, where etc etc. He spoke to me then popped next door to speak to my neighbour, when he returned he tried to open my door but it was locked, he said 'now that's just plain paranoid, rats can't pick locks'. I couldn't stop laughing
I did explain that as I'm hard of hearing I never leave my door unlocked.
Oh I loved signing my divorce papers...in fact I got the scissors out and cut up photos and stuck parts where they shouldnt go and put weird and wonderful combinations together...together with plenty of alcohol and a curry...it was a night to remember!!! In fact my neighbour had just gone through a divorce too...so we joined forces...great fun...well he thought so too...
Reading the forum and having to check my calendar to see if it was Xmas or April fools day with all the people leaving I thought maybe I had the wrong month showing and peeps where having a laugh.
rats make the best pets for kids, i think they are better than horrible have to take for walks barking smelly stupid pooches any day!!i trained mine to attack burglars by running up trouser legs an bitin thier bit's!training was very painful! an when i was young the fashion was for drainpipe trouser's
finally finding the confidence to stand up to my boss at work, ok over the phone not face to face but stood my ground. wooo hooo feel great for doing it finally.
Just feeling happy today after a very teary day yesterday thanks for the support of a couple of special people.
Being a sucker for a sob story. Tomorrow i will be the proud owner of a lickle kitten to be called Stig(of the dump). Stig and litter mate were found dumped in a ditch near my friends stables earlier in the week. They are approx 7 weeks old. She's keeping one and i'm having the other. Will i ever learn to say no?????? Just call me Noah..lol
The sight of my 13-year-old son as I picked him up from his freind's last night. Apparently he'd been on on a field walking friend's dog. He'd run into a muddy patch in the dark and, Chris being the type of slob he is who never does his shoelaces up, promptly lost a shoe in all the goo on the ground.
He then went down on his hands and knees to try to recover the shoe. Couldn't find it in the dark, so ther apparition that awaited me was not only muddy from head to foot but only had one shoe too.
I should have put the hosepipe on him, or sent him to walk through the local car wash. I should have yelled at him for getting mud on the car seats and losing the shoe. I'm afraid I could hardly stop laughing though...cruel, aren't I?
We'll have to launch a shoe finding expedition later.
Watching a wild kitten discovering how to play. 'Stig' is actually a girl, so she is now called 'Sprout'. She is frightened to death of people and loud noises but if you sit quietly enough, she plays with her toys like a kitten possessed. She's hilarious. Ever tried to laugh quietly???
Having the best ever Christmas party at my cousin Wendy's in her absolutely fantastic new bungalow...with all the Christmas cheer, food, laughter and fun...lots of love and happiness was had by all...What a brilliant start to Christmas...
To top it off, watching video footage of my cousins baby who is now 5 weeks old...absolutely gorgeous....almost made me feel broody...then I cast my mind back to a 3yr old and twin babies on my own! Nothing like a dose of reality!
Tomorrow off away for more Christmas cheer at my Aunts for Christmas...oh what happy days...wish all days could be as good as this!
