Day off so a little run out to Newlands Corner near Guildford and now munching a chilli jacket spud at Rykas Box Hill, nice breeze today so not sweating me nads off yet ;-)
Was hoping for a long ride out today, but had to settle for a shortish run, that included coffee in the sun, a shopping trip and banking. Will have to wait for the weekend now as work is a beckoning.

Charity ride out across South Oxfordshire to raise money to support a unique scheme run by Age UK Oxfordshire who, by working with serving soldiers, RAF personnel and military historians provide reminiscence sessions to our forgotten heroes - D-Day veterans, old squaddies and ex-RAF and Royal Navy personnel who either fought for us during the 2nd World War or took part in National Service. These old boys deserve our thanks and recognition and getting them together with young service personnel in an act of true comradeship, allows them to talk positively about their service lives with people who truly understand. We raised over £300 and enjoyed a leisurely ride in beautiful sunshine.
After clocking up over 400 miles over the weekend I realised my rear tyre was doing a credible Kojak impersonation (minus the lollipop) so went out today and got one the looks like a WWI battlefield by comparison.
