Walked to the bank so just gave it a little good morning pat n hoped the neighbours weren't watching . I wish my bike could listen to Sound of the Sixties too.
Same for me Inspector gadget.
On the way back I diverted to Richmond park and had a coffee and watched some deer. Then on to Clapham common by the pond and had some more coffee and watched the ducks. I must admit I was glad to get back after all that coffee
The weather was wonderful and riding in summer kit made a change
You could always do what I do on the old beemer. Flap my hands around because that doesn't have indicators. Mind you I don't like it much on motorways when wanting to change to the right hand lane.
But the little CBR is not really suited to arm signals
Besides, I am a major complainer when others don't use indicators
I do use and recommend ARM signals in traffic/built up areas ( its the movement of the arm going out and back in again which "grabs" the attention of drivers )
Also very useful in bright sunlight where bike indicators may be missed ( often not on a "solid" background )
I'll still use the bike locally, where I know the routes and where I'll need to signal
Not been out today, just getting my 125 ready for Thursday as I am selling it lol.
New spark plug, a bit of cleaning and a little touch up on some of the frame. Also sorted out the exsuast heat shilled as it had a bit of a rattle :( but sorted now. Just need to check the chain next, but seemed ok on Friday lol.
Even have my old L plates for the new owner, will fit them Thursday morning before heading to work.
Ah Firestorm ! I should have been selling my 125 this weekend but I pulled out - I love her too much !! However, cos I have had the kids this weekend I havent been able to get out on my bike this weekend ............ Boo !! : (
