Reading an accident report today (shouldn't be funny I know but bear with me) about a young fella who had an accident in his car, which involved no other vehicles, whilst travelling northbound, on a west to east length of the A59!
He was turning right out of a minor road onto the A59, but "failed" to turn right and instead travelled "across" the A59 at "low" speed into a tree.
Minor injuries only luckily.
No alcohol was involved.
How do you "fail" to turn right? And how do you not simply hit the brakes before hitting the tree whilst travelling at "low" speed?
The young lad will remain nameless. Mainly cos I don't know his name.
geoff - did he still have his steering lock on? I seem to remember somebody else did that too but can't for the life of me remember who it was... *cough*
ian - yes, you have rumbled me. I am in fact a SuperHero... *swishes cape*
