took my 11yo lad to the doctors coz he pulled a muscle. that didnt make me sad it was the fact the female quack was much closer to his age than to mine that did it !!
Been training hard for a course at the end of October and think I am getting a stress fracture on my left leg.......I just don't need this. Can't put the course off and have to pass the physical tests gonna have to crack on and hope it doesn't break on me before or during the course....ffs

Watching my bike sliding down the road before hitting the kerb.
Thankfully I didn't slide quite so far.
Today's valuable lesson was; very slippy and wet surface + new tyres + perhaps too much countersteer = the above.
I've formally reported the surface problems with the new Wetherby Bypass to North Yorkshire.
Anyone travelling on the new stretch of the A168 around Wetherby, be very careful at the roundabouts. I was amazed at just how slippery the surfacing is in the wet.
I've also just sent a snotty email to the AA who, despite us having relay membership, chose to leave a woman at the side of the road, upset and hurting and in the rain because we refused to pay the £104 charge to recover the bike (this was only to the nearest garage as well despite our relay cover), all because it "wasn't actually a breakdown". B*stards.
