Being ill in bed all day, feeling like sh*te...when a lovely gentleman knocked on my door and brought be a lovely bunch of flowers to cheer me up and then made me a coffee! He promptly sent me back to bed cos I looked dreadful....and NOPE he didnt follow! HA HA...
Knowing that the sight of me looking so dreadful didnt make him take heels and bolt out of my door!!!!

Having a letter from british gas telling me my monthy payments needed to be increased to £78 from £45 to cover the increase in fuel charges, after a telephone call to them and having it re calculated having my payment now down to £48
What also made me laugh is realising that if I put anymore clothes on to keep warm I won't fit through the doors, when all I needed to do was put on my nice warm micro fleece biker top.

I got a wink from a younger woman today, much younger and very pretty too, made my heart sing.

Had an offer in settlement to my bike accident today, which will remain open for acceptance until 16th Oct, then further down the letter my solicitor says she can't advise me whether to accept it or not as my accident is difficult to put a value on as my medical position is uncertain.
She then puts in her letter that she has made an appointment for me to meet with her to discuss this on 27th Oct, am I thick of is this not after the acceptance date of the 16th.
This also makes me laugh as this is the 4th solicitor to deal with my case since it has been with this company (only got a letter two days ago telling me my solicitor had changed again) and no other solicitor will take it on as it has gone to far to make it financially viable for them to do so.
Look CG my son's thinking of doing law at uni and look as I might I can't find anything in the courses about being able to read calendars! So what do you expect?
I'd send her an email PDQ. Mind you, didn't see anything in the course about opening emails, either.
