*rephrases* Only bashed the cones when I was *walking* the bike around I'm taking the specially-for-Wannabe extended version of the cbt Mick! Back on Thursday night for some more car park practice before even considering venturing out on the roads! Saying that, the instructor probably just wants to spend another couple of evenings in my scintillating company, right?! Not sure which one of us giggled the more throughout... it was a close-run thing...

Nothing wrong with taking a couple of days to do your CBT I did mine over two days, in fact it was nice because I went out for a lovely ride on the second day. Some days even now I take Dr Bachs Rescue Remedy before going out on my bike as I am not a natural to biking but usually enjoy it once out there, the things you do to try to find yourself a fella.

Ooooh Rescue Remedy's a good tip - thanks CG. I'm sure I'll be less tense this week, but I'll grab the RR just in case - brilliant idea... & what do you mean to find yourself a fella? I'm doing this so I don't have to rely on an available chap or keep begging for pillion positions! Much better to get on your own bike and see where the fancy takes you That's my theory anyway.

I keep a bottle of RR in the tool roll on my bike. I hate riding on my own thats my problem and don't really have anyone around here to ride out with. Perhaps if I was a lot younger and got into biking at an earlier age I might feel differently about it all. So often I wonder why the hell I am even the owner of a bike let alone the rider of one. Having said that being as this is a what made you smile thread, I am smiling because I have no choice but to go to Bassetts Pole on my bike tonight my ass has been well and truly kicked, Lula, Dot and Blues your all bullies you know that.
