Yes, congrats Julie, so what is next? CBT or have you done that already? If so then it must be your practical test...are you doing DAS or A1? Whichever, good luck!
What made me smile today?, quite a few things considering how fed up I am
I had a good laugh in the chat room tonite too, now my guts are killing me
Waking up on a glorious morning in Douglas, ISLE OF MAN... for TT!!!!
The bikes are out and music to our ears.
The sun is warm and sky blue.
Kate5930 & VMAXDeg are here as well and looks like its going to be a blast for the next few days...
XXXXXXXXX
thinkin about my trip around Spain came off on a mountain rd![crash bars an panniers saved the bike from any serious damage] had all sorts of weather an great scenery!met some nice people all round a good experiance!
Took Willow to watch her daddy at work training all the little peeps on their CBT's bless em! He loved having a visit from us while he was teaching. Love him to bits!!!!
What Made Me Smile:
Riding yesterday morning for three hours through stunning glens and a cloudless sky and barely seeing a dozen cars....
... then riding for two hours at sunset and seeing only four! (I counted this time).
Riding my Nightster like a trailie up my own secret miniature version of the Stelvio pass until the Sun was too low into my eyes then turning around so it warmed my back as I watched my shadow grow longer in front of me.
Returning home with an empty tank and a full heart....
Munching chips for dinner in Swanage after a great ride out with a really good bunch of guys who made me feel right at home.... now thats what I call a good sat afternoon/evening!
Having a great weekend with KD and Nutkin, meeting a few more BM faces at Squires...it was well worth the mileage..
Ps.. aren't you glad I'm all the way down south!!!! LOL
No, aren't you glad us lot are up north?? Where the sun (sometimes) shines.
Lovely to have met you, now it's time for an expetition down to the West Country. Expedition, even.
What made me smile today?
Moving my tank bag off the garage bench and wondering what the piece of wood was sticking to the magnetic wing, then realising it was a club hammer as it detached and landed an inch from my flip-flopped toe!
Important lesson here, people - never ever wear flip-flops... NEVER!! They ain't cool and they ain't smart.... just say NO!!
p.s I actually had them on the wrong feet so technically they were flop-flips...
The sun is shining, I am going to go to work on my bike for the first time in ages.
Also going to see if I can muster up enough confidence to ride to bike club tonight which will mean going on the motorway on my own, something I have never done. (gosh tummy is turning over already just at the mere thought of it)
If anyone is in my area and going to the Rose and Crown Portway to the 1066mcc and fancies riding with me that would be great.
