A few things have made me smile over the past few days

Yesterday i slipped back into my leathers and went on my first pillion ride in over 7 weeks . Wow , what a feeling . Brill to have the wind blowing through my hair again
I'd so missed being on a bike and riding the twisties .
I now have a regular pillion seat again whenever i want it

...........

After being signed off work for 4 weeks i'm allowed to go back on Monday . I can honestly say i've never been bored all the time i was off but will be good to go back

.....................

My number one son has finally decided to move into his own place
I've waited on this moment for 25 years
All good things come to those who wait - but only if you deserve it

I think this calls for a wee celebration down the rock bar this weekend

Life is good

I don't suppose your son has a spare room ? It would be nice to know my number one son has finally fled this nest, not much hope of that at the moment. I was once old free and single. Now I am just old and single

The father of a friend of mine (he is a very handsome, silver fox, 68 yo, who has been married for 45 years and he is a true gent) was sitting in the park, enjoying reading his paper when a lady came over n sat down next to him, (her daughter was with her apparently) she smiled at him sweetly n said 'you very quiet' to which he acknoledged that yes he was, n he was taking some time out for himself. The lady nodded n put her hand on his knee n said 'can i have a kiss?' ..the response was 'i would rather not' ... She simply got up n walked away saying 'you are rather horrid'.

What did make me roll around laughing until my sides ached, was when i asked what age of a lady she was, he responded that her daughter looked older than him!!

Nothing like being propositioned on a sunny day is there?!

Its come all the way from Aftghanistan and its a fridge magnet made from shrapnel lol I bet a fellow BM'er who is serving out there at the minute he couldn't do it , proved me wrong :) Also sent me a rally kit, disposa-johns, footwarmers, popcorn, a sweet and a lollipop, how well he knows me lol
