Oooh, I LOVE the beach at Silloth, I had a lot of holidays (betwixt age of 8 - 14) at Stanwix Park (does it still exist?) Horse riding all day, every day... through the sand dunes and onto the beach, galloping back and forth in the surf. Heaven on earth until the horses decided it was time to cool off and began to lay down and roll

I wasn't very happy when my bike got nicked a fortnight ago and was recovered in a rather battered state. The insurance company wrote it off - although someone will no doubt repair and revive it - and the money has come through. Which means that I can now immerse myself in bike-buying porn...every cloud has a silver lining My smile might fade a bit when the insurance comes up for renewal, but that's not until next January
