And as for putting up your pics of cats and dogs... don't think it has anything to do with BM, enough people put irrelevant photo's on their profiles that have naff all to do with biking...
Can't agree with you there feisty, sure we've all got a passion for bikes in common but that doesn't mean we can't 'advertise' and show-off our varous none-biking hobbies and passions
Yes and no to FGs post there is not much wrong with a few pics but when some have 100s of unrelated pis as I see it thay are just using BM as a storage site so thay dont fill up there own computa with trash
You would be surprised how many on this site have an interest in photography & when, where & how a pic has been taken, what shutter speed used, ISO & white balance etc etc. I like many others who take photos have separate hard drives just for all photography stuff. I for one love looking at what other do photography wise, some good effects DOA on yours
Does it really matter what someone has on their profile ? Just cos its not something you will be interested in does not mean someone else wont be, I (for example) took shots of Bills dog at a meet up, so put them on here so he could copy them.
Whats next the only topics that can be posted in the forums are bike related ones ?
I don't feel the need to put all my photo's that i have ever taken on here, some people do it's a free world. I would rather put all my pictures on my separate hard drive and load up the odd few onto FB where my friends and family can see them.
I am not knocking anyone putting their photo's on to show off their other passions, I do have other interests myself, but as JP said, some people put on 100's !!!
And no Shell I wasn't in the slightest suggesting that the only subjects that should be in the forums should be bike related.... that would be just plain silly
I recognise it was YOUR OPINION & mearly voiced mine.
I also have a separate hard drive with thousands of pics I have taken, and would not think of putting them all on here or for that matter any web site, however I (personally) would not knock anyone for any pics they put up , after all if Matt wanted people to restrict what was put up or the number of pics that were posted to a profile on his site, he would not have altered it so that full members could upload as many as they wanted to ... would he ??
Matt can do what he likes it's his site, if people want to use the facility that he has put there then that is up to them. I don't have a problem with it.
As in my previous post I am not knocking anyone simply an opinion.

I love looking at other folks' photos, altho I'm obviously interested in bikes I like pics of other things, especially summer scenes, beach ones and my fave ones Pompey (Portsmouth) of course.
