It struck me whilst chattin to BJP1960 there gonna be a lotta folk on their own an at a loose end Xmas Day. This thread is for all of us in this situation to talk about it, to perhaps make a time to be in the chatroom,to organise perhaps even a meet up an not spend it alone! So dnt be shy,tell us if you at a loose end xmas day,at the very least organise a mass chat at a set time perhaps? Lets see if we can make the day pass with a smile! Andy.

ok folks glad u liked idea, its soo easy to pop in chatroom an no one in..if peeps post a time on thread they gonna be in room it shld make it easier to get a few in at once and get some interaction! As I said maybe some folks realising others are on own will travel an spend a few hrs socialising fer real!

Agree with BK - can be surrounded by others but still be on your own (especially when you're not with the person you want to be with!). Will try to be there.

Andy, you may have annoyed me with one of your early posts on BM, but this is a great idea and fair play to you. I''ll be tied up all day with the kids, but I hope those who are alone at Christmas enjoy spending it with mutual friends on BM. Perhaps with more preperation an official BM meet can be arranged for next year for Christmas dinner.
