Heated grips are fantastic,

I won't have a word against them - I ride all year round to get to work as i don't drive, and I hate having to ware thick gloves, I don't feel in control when I cant feel switches etc...

With my heated grips, its December and I'm still waring my summer gloves

I've never tried heated clothing, usually just pile the layers on,
if i were to get it, i think i'd have to have the dearer stuff that plugs into the bike rather than running of batteries, i'd be forever charging the damn things.

I have a sleeveless heated jacket that I wear under my main jacket,, keeps my body and kidneys nice and warm.

Also have heated grips, would not be without either in the winter.

Tho this year it's going to be car only cos of breaking my foot, I will be back on the road again next year

Heated grips are great. nothing worse than numb fingers and not very safe either. I find putting the grips on full for ten minutes then knocking them down to low is sufficient to keep my hands warm. Also have heated body warmer that plugs into bike that keeps the chill off. Have wired it through a switch on the bike so I can turn on and off as I'm riding so I don't get too warm.

Oldbike, you can mention the manufacturer, and if the product is that good mention it in the bike products / services review section of the forums.
