quite fancy this....did a road trip at this time 2010 to N scotland...it snowed!!! and i got hit by a flying sheep!! lol great roads though! might be tempted to come across the water. getting toooooooo old for camping though especially if i have to walk next day!

my daughter lives up in Kingussie so this is a regular run for me. always fancied Applecross but was deffo too cold in May 2010 although agree with Ullapool some great bars! thats just reminded me of the Bulgarian barman in one of the bars there - he came here with a job sorted but he misunderstood - thought they said Liverpool!!! Honest!
im afraid i need a little luxury on my travels lol so def a b&b for me i think....although i might be convinced to camp...if someone can find me a very large tent that i can get my bed into and some way of getting it all on the back of a 7r!! along with the compulsary hairdryer and straighteners!!!
