Austrailian MOTOGP commentator Charlie Cox has been sent back to the bush by BBC TV bosses, after being pulled-off the Beeb's MotoGP show.
The presenter was taken in hand by BBC bigwigs and shown the back door, following a thirteen-year stint with the corporation.
Cox has endured a mixed reception from British viewers, receiving stiff criticism from many for the Aussie's limp commentary style.
The BBC have yet to announce whether Steve 'Stavros' Parrish will remain on the show, or who'll replace the pair if Parrish is ousted.
Moody and Ryder, anyone?
No problem with Parrish. Moody Ryder Mamola would be better.
Cox was never a bike commentator, he did improve a little, but never really made the step up from touring cars.
must admit I always watch the racing on Eurosport - couldn't stand the Beebs comentators - Moody, Ryder & Mamola & then Whitham & Burnicle - can't beat em!
Although after the fiasco last season of Eurosport saying they weren't showing the MotoGP cos terestrial had got it they'd let Moody, Ryder & Mamola go & then couldn't get Mamola back when they did an about change - hopefully next season they'll have him back...& then also cos the WSBK was on the same weekends as BSB, some of the commentary of the WSBK was a bit shoddy as Whitham & Burnicle were comentating on the BSB! (confused - you will be )

I would have the quality of the BBC pictures with Moody and julian Ryder. Theyr'e just like a couple of enthusiastic anaracks they've grabbed of the street. Don't like Jack Burnicle. get witham and parish down on the track.
and suzy perry walkin in front of the camera in something skimpy every Lap with a board with lap number on like they do in boxing.
