If you're not already booked on it, it's probably too late, as it's all ticketed in advance and you can't just turn up on the day to join the ride out.
It's going from Wessons up to Brooklands and is in aid of Spinal Research.
As most of you know by now from my interminable ramblings, this is a cause close to home for me, so I wanted to support it... The ride out organisation seems way too regimented for our liking, however, so we've decided to just turn up at Brooklands and make a donation of what we would've paid to join them, less the museum entry cost.

This is the first I've heard of this event Wannabe, I hope they raise loads of money, and a laugh between them lol
I've just read their guidelines you're not wrong 'regimental' more emphasis on the mental (no offence to the mentally ill)
It seems an awful lot of money to take part, even tho it includes a t shirt and museum entry fee.
Of course, the more money the better, no matter how it's raised, sorry if I made it sound bad, didn't mean to.
>>>off to knit meself a new smaller gob, and smaller feet >>>>
*tuts* at you being too quick to reply Mrs (just cos I'm a slow typer with the memory of a gnat)
I don't think you made it sound bad Sandi - you pretty much summed it up... I do think they could've gained more support by being slightly less... erm... OCD with their ride out plans though
