Looks like the best weather of the weekend will be on Sunday. I'm going to mosey up to Rivington for about 1.30pm if anyone fancies meeting me there for the usual coffee and tyre-kicking. If there's no-one there frpm BM I'll probs hang around 45 mins or so before setting to to explore the lane up towards Rivington Pike.
Brilliantly sunny and pleasantly warm without being sweltering. Great day. Well, not for some. There were police everywhere cos there'd been an accident on the road at the far end of Lever Park leading up to the tower, the M61 was closed for some reason when I went out, accident I think, and the M62 was closed on the way back cos of an accident. There's been nowt on the news, so presume no-one too badly hurt.
