Will be seeing you tomorrow EM , i hope to be coming by bike , but the ins. documents have not arrived yet and i was told at the P.O. yesterday that no ins. doc. NO road tax disc ! its almost 3 weeks that i'm waiting for this (and i've sent them e-mail reminders)
If your insurance has gone through all right you can tax your bike online as it's all on a data base, cannot remember if you have to put a ref number from the insurance doc in a box but give it a go if you've not tried it yet! Your M.O.T is also on the data base I've taxed my bike that way the last three years (sod quing at the post office on a lunch time just to find out you nedd this doc that doc and a long fuse lol)

Technically yes, but if you have taxed the bike on line you should get a 'reciept/ proof of' doc to print off to show IF you are stopped by the cops, but they check most things by computers these days and will tell instantly if you're covered anyway.
Altho you may be 'covered' technically they may still 'do' ya for not displaying a current road fund disc.
