Right people,latest update on progress made;
Date has been confirmed as sept 4-6th.We realise this clashes with storming but we are offering a smaller social event so hopefully this will not impact on us to much.
Ticket prices are £12 pre booked,to include a free badge or £15 on gate.As we are limiting numbers to 500 max we would recommend early booking to avoid missing out on the event of the year.Tickets can be booked now,but will be sent out 1 month prior to event.Bookings will be taken either from posting your requirements on this thread or pming myself.As soon as funds have cleared you will be issued with a ticket/booking number so in the event of non receipt of tickets you will still be allowed access.
We still need some more marshalls to donate a few hours of time over the weekend,the more we have the less hours evreyone will need to do.There is to be a marshalls only party on sunday night,so please pm XK if you can help with this.
All liscences/permissions required have now been obtained and all legal requirements have been met.The catering van has been purchased and is now being refurbed especially to meet our requirements,inc an alchohol liscence,and an ajoining marquee to seat approx 50.This van will be open until the last rally goer retires and reopen when the first people are up and about for breakfast,something i believe will be exclusive to this rally.
After having had a long chat with the liscencee this morning,we now have until sat to let him now what beers we would like to see on offer so please get your requests in early.
Any bmers who would like to take a trade stall please confirm by the end of feb,as we now have to advertise the remaining pitches.
A full itenary has already been posted but will be on events by the end of the week for any newcomers to the site.
A wee reminder that our first fundraiser is this sat(see events)so please support this in any way you can.The more money we can raise the more we can offer in sept.
If anyone has anything to say regarding the friendlies,fundraisers or the rally itself can i ask that you post on this thread and not start a new one as there are now so many threads things are getting lost and finding information already posted has become a mammoth task and we want it to be as easy as possible for people(esp newbies).

Clashing with Stormin shouldn't pose a problem , I know a lot of bikers who are boycotting Stormin due to peeps being able to catch a coach laid on specially to take rally goers to the event , and even have a pre-erected tent waiting for them , takes the piss out of BIKE RALLY, just jump on a bus with your rucksack walk through pedestrian entrance and make your way to your ready made tent !!!

Well done Cassie and all those who are also involved with gettin this rally up and running, and all those who are supporting it too. I'm sorry I can't be of any use but I wish you all the best in keeping this rally going for many years to come.
