Seriously considering attending this, being naive and insane enough !! Anyone done this before, anyone thinking about it ? Thoughts and options will be greatly appreciated
Yes, did it many years ago when it was still held in Snowdonia, lost a bike in the snow, li was bloody freezing, and I was mad. Enough to do the elephant in the black forest, which was even colder. All on my old BSA A10, and I got there and back.
the elephant was really hard, there was a guy who came from norway on a BMW with a pair of skis strapped to the cylinders so he did not fall off!! its the coldest i have ever been, was glad to get home, done it once wont do it again.
Exactly that Rocker. Once, I definitely need to do this the once and then probably never again! 60/70% chance i may be stupid or brave enough to attempt it this coming next one.... watch yhis space
