So, the plan is to take a run down through some lovely countryside and quiet roads.

Start will be over Edinburgh way, there's an Asda where folk will be able to fuel, although the store will be closed.

Down through Innerleithen to St Mary's Loch and across to Moffat.

There is fuel available in Moffat between 10am and 4pm for those with tiny fuel tanks

The Buccleugh Arms in Moffat have offered to open up their Function suite for us if we have enough interest

We'll then head up the 'Beeftub' and back up towards Edinburgh.

Not a huge mileage, but lovely roads and gorgeous scenery, and a good reason to not punish your liver to badly on Hogmanay

Event has been submitted, I'll let you know as soon as it's up

This may all be for naught if the weather lets us down, but to swell numbers I'm minded to extend the invitations for this run to bikers outeith this fair forum unless there are any strenuous objections?

got to events and click on the postcode it will show you a map of the meet area ;)

It is to the left of the roundabout as you head North into Edinburgh from A1.

I have to ride along Edinburgh bypass so if anyone wants to meet me then I will be at the Maybury Casino 1-5 South Maybury, Edinburgh EH12 8NE for 9-9:10am, there is a shell garage opposite so will pull into there before heading to meeting point

I've had one offer of a pillion seat from the non-believers, however I'm quite cautious about the weather, although it's still too early to say for sure, early indications are that much colder weather is likely to take hold after Christmas...

I'll keep an eye on the situation and post an update closer to the time.

If you're thinking of going and would like a notification of the run going or not going, please make sure you've added yourself to the event so you get any updates
