Well if your up anywhere near Glen Garry and fancy a really good biker friendly B and B check out this place it is out standing service and the cleanest most comfortable place I have ever stayed and I have stayed at some top hotels around the world with my job. This place takes them all... Owners are down to earth and look after you price around £35 pp with full English breakfast, even a couple of jacuzzis for the use of as well

dustin666 @ 17/01/2015 11:56

Dates are; whenever you can make it between Sat 18th and Sat 25th July - there's sure to be someone around even if some people go some touring.

Location is in the town of Fort Augustus.

Get your faces added
izzyhill @ 21/01/2015 10:27

Don't know if this is what's confusing you bic chick but I think it's down as Loch Ness the sequel or something hopes this helps apologies if I'm wrong
Al65 @ 21/01/2015 12:25

Yep, that's the one AJ. Fort Augustus at the west end of Loch Ness.
And brilliant it is too :-)
It's now on the events page so sign up all who are interested.
Anyone got any questions you don't want to put on here just drop me a pm.
Steve_H @ 21/01/2015 19:59

Applecross, been meaning to go for ages. Gonna have to check dates for this one.
SlowGoose @ 21/01/2015 21:11

It's always worth a trip up to Applecross!
Steve_H @ 22/01/2015 06:36

Anyone wanting to book into the lodge needs to get in touch with them now. That are open and taking bookings. If you just turn up expect them to be fully booked, camping won't be a problem though.
Steve_H @ 28/02/2015 20:13

Applecross is amazing! Love, love LOVE it! You gotta go just for Applecross @SG
Lindsay @ 04/03/2015 07:07

Apple cross is cool. Getting there is awesome :-)
Steve_H @ 05/03/2015 19:58

People keep frightening me with horror stories of midges. What is the truth?
Carolerd350 @ 07/03/2015 11:31

Midges can be right bastards but it depends on where you stay.
Midges like to be near still water and only fly when the air is very still, slightest bit of breeze and they are gone.
We had very little midge trouble the last two years, just the odd nibble sat outside the pub.
There are three solutions to the midges.
1. Avon skin so soft.
2. Go back inside the pub.
3. Stake XK out on the ground and cover him in jungle formula midge repellant. Midges actually think of jungle formula as a delicious marinade. This might seem harsh but after experiencing the after effects of his preferred diet of pickled eggs and liquid effluent is seems quite reasonable!
So stop worrying.
Steve_H @ 07/03/2015 15:12

Midges? Check out the previous two years photos on the events page for July 2014 and July 2013. A picture is worth a thousand words.
dustin666 @ 07/03/2015 20:52

Cover yrself in midge repellant.
They will then make a beeline to the nearest numpty.
#Clue - stand next to Steve-H.
XKLYBR @ 07/03/2015 21:57

Good call dustin. Photos are stunning. Can't wait!
