Receiving confirmation that my order for artwork (to hang in my newly decorated stairwell) has not only been received but has been despatched **dancing from foot to foot in excitement** woohoo, it's on its way
Christmas Bake-off / coffee morning event at work today; colleague at the next desk sets off about 9:50 to man the cake sale for the advertised 10:00 start. She's back (a 3 minute walk across the service yard) at 10:11 saying it's all over, sold out. I never left my desk!
Having a real live 22 year old that I know flirting with me. Instead of the young ghosts that I seem to be collecting here lol. Nothing serious, just a bit of banter but so good for the soul
Hey Yarg, I have a 'too young' list. Not a 'too old' list lol. But I still don't do Xmas cards. So when someone sends me one, I'm wracked with guilt and feel obliged to send one back. We're pretty much at the point of no return now. If any arrive tomorrow, I can't get one back to them. And that's just cruelty on their part lol.
Catching up with an old school pal, who lives less than a mile from me (for around 16 years. Go figure?!) Sitting in her back garden surrounded by warm winter sunshine and very frosty grass, drinking hot tea. Definitely one of life's memory moments. Marvellous!
Also hearing that another school pal maybe moving North in the very near future, after 17 years in The Big Smoke
